Cowan's Dairy was an actual dairy run by the Cowan's family in the early 1900's. Eventually the dairy business was sold to larger manufacturers and the original dairy was no longer operational as a dairy. Run as a convenience store from the early 1980s to mid-2000's, it also sold 16 flavours of Nestle Ice Cream. Now it is in a larger space holding the entire front of the original building. Still selling convenience items, Cowan's Dairy also carries 40 flavours of Ice Cream, Soft Serve, Ice Cream Cakes (made on site), Subs and Fresh Homemade Fudge. Drop by on your way home and treat yourself!
We've (Surinder & Kuljit Gill) owned this store since 2000, and have kept true to the family run nature of the business. We have 3 kids of our own and we have employed many staff over the years. We are constantly changing our menus and our store layout, but our family run business is a fun place to work and learn.
